About Us
College of Allied Educators Singapore, formerly known as School of Linguistics, is a premier learning institution and the learning provider of choice for special needs, counselling, psychology, and allied health and science programmes.
The College was established in June 2010 with the acquisition of the School of Linguistics, which was then the pioneer institution that provided training in special needs programmes as early as 2004. The acquisition was part of the plan to expand our services and offices in the Asia Pacific region and also to capitalise on the growing demand for special needs, counselling, psychology, and allied health and science courses and services in Asia.
Besides focusing on providing accredited training programmes to parents, teachers and caregivers in acquiring practical skills and tools required to support children with special needs, the College is also expanding its training courses and services to train and help individuals professionally in the areas of counselling, psychology and allied health and science.
Since 2004, our programmes and workshops have benefitted 2,500 individuals, and counting. Whilst expansion, the College is determined and committed to continue to focus on quality programmes, workshops and services in the areas of special needs, counselling, psychology, and allied health and science, to fulfil and envision our goal to train and benefit more people professionally.
